PIANOLAC® WATERBASED PORE
FILLER CREAM


PianoLac® waterbased grain filler cream is an updated version of "paste wood filler." It fills pores in open grained wood. It goes under all PianoLac® basecoats and sealers.


KEY PROPERTIES

  • Applies quickly with a plastic spreader Takes around one hour to fill a baby grand piano.
  • Dries in 30 minutes.
  • Removable by sanding. Tedious rubbing with burlap is eliminated.
  • Removal is part of the sanding process. This means there's no chance of leaving filler on top of the wood to cause blotches.
  • Stain or seal immediately after sanding.
  • Economical: the average baby grand can be filled twice with less than 2 quarts.

ADVANTAGES OVER SOLVENT PASTE WOOD FILLER

  • Can be sprayed immediately after last sanding, eliminating overnight wait.
  • No solvent odor.
  • Can be thinned with water for second application on very porous woods.
  • Sands just like wood.
  • No HAZMAT shipping charges.

APPLICATION

An 11" Red Devil® spreader can be used on lids and cases. One side of a lid can be filled in under 2 minutes. Auto body filler applicators or plastic spatulas can be used on small pieces. On curved surfaces, a flexible spatula is efficient.
